THERE will be no further action against any Saints players following the stormy game at Wigan.
Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, who responded to Frank-Paul Nuuausala’s hair pulling by giving him a taunting tap to the face, received a caution.
Nuuausala, who reacted by punching the Londoner in the face, faces a Grade A punching charge with a tariff of no further action to one match.
Wigan’s new recruit was also cautioned for the hair pulling incident.
There was no charge for Dan Sarginson nudging Adam Swift into the perimeter fence over the dead ball line, with the panel deeming: “Player is entitled to make tackle as player is still in play and contact is not overly forceful. Momentum of players take opponent into advertising barrier.”
Willie Isa was cautioned for his tackle on Jordan Turner with the panel report stating: “Dangerous Throw.
“Player makes low tackle on opponent and then applies lifting motion, taking player into potentially dangerous position.
“Player lands safely however lifting technique unnecessary and worthy of MRP Caution.”
