BILLINGE New Street welcomed Sandbach United Reserves to Sutton Leisure on Saturday.

20 minutes in Dearden drove his shot hard and low to give Luke Osborn no chance in the visitors goal.

A great long-range effort in the 33rd minute by Warren Gerrad forced Osborn to concede a corner on the right. The in-swinging kick was totally misjudged by Osborn and floated into the goal.

However the celebrations were short lived as referee Mark Watkinson disallowed the goal for an alleged a push on the keeper.

With just seconds to go before half-time a lack of concentration in the Billinge defence saw Jonah Gosling pick the pocket of Dearden and cross the ball into the box and as Still came out of goal to pick it up he was challenged by Hancock who followed up to guide the ball into the net.

In the half’s 12th minute Barker slotted home to give the visitors a 2-1 lead.

The pressure didn’t stop there as Still was forced to make another great save from a Johns wicked free-kick.

Eighteen minutes into the second-half Sandbach were 3-1 up when Barker latched onto a pass from Hancock and finished neatly.

A great through-ball by Simpson found Dearden who picked out Tyler Eaton on the left who finished to make it 2-3.

Five minutes later Dylan Martin’s pass found Speakman on the right, he advanced into the box beating two defenders and hitting the ball passed the keeper and near post to make it 3-3.

Two late Sandbach goals took the three points back to Cheshire.

Next week Billinge travel to Cheadle to take on Cheadle Heath Nomads Reserves.
