THE weekend saw St Helens Swimming Club start what will be a busy period in the run up to Christmas with the short journey to Orford Jubilee Centre for the Percy Mason Meet.
Hayden Battle was again in good from taking bronze in the 200m Breaststroke and 400m Freestyle, whilst Riley Underhill’s two bronze medals include a superb performance in the 1500m Freestyle on Friday evening.
Oliver Crosby is turning into a fine middle-distance swimmer with his bronze medal in the 800m Freestyle being just reward for some hard training. Ella White claimed bronze in the 50m Backstroke.
There were also some good performances, including several Persona Best’s from Alicia Ashton, Shreyas Mishra, Charlie Bowcock, Ava Turtle, Emily Battle, Josh Barker, Sam Haraben, Amelia Mather, Jaxon Pullen, Ruby Pullen and Harry Glover.
This weekend sees a trip across the Mersey to Birkenhead for the Wirral Metro Christmas Meet.
