LIVERPOOL St Helens Ladies have enjoyed a successful first season in their Northern Counties 2 League, finishing as undefeated Champions already having secured a place in the Lancashire Cup Final.
The ladies are now turning their attention to the National Cup semi-final on Sunday 26 March at Moss Lane they will face a strong Boston rugby side for a place in the final at Twickenham on April 30.
Head coach Chris Hall and everyone at Moss Lane is proud of their achievements.
“The girls and ladies have worked hard all season to achieve their goals.
"We now need to prepare in the right way for what could be a historic game down at the Lane with a game at Twickenham at stake” he said.
Meanwhile, there was a brilliant re match for the LSH Under 14 girls against a strong Sandal side on Sunday.
Sandal were the winners last time the girls met but LSH were comfortable winners 38-22 in a great match.
