SAINTS boss Keiron Cunningham believes his team will bounce back at home to Castleford on Friday night.

He has been forced to change his 19-man squad with Jordan Turner missing out because of the head knock he sustained on Sunday.

Lance Hohaia, Greg Richards and Matty Dawson are added to the 19 with Paul Wellens and Andre Savelio dropping out.

There is still no place for Luke Walsh who is recovering from the ankle he damaged at the same time as breaking his leg.

The coach is confident Saints can post a response after Sunday's defeat - but knows it will not be an easy one.

Cunningham said: “There is no bubble burst after Sunday. I have heard some ridiculous comments about 'crisis'.

“This is a good club, built on good traditions and we have a really good heritage in everything we do.

“I am more than confident that we will come back on Friday night – and come back with a bang.”

He expects a tough game at home to last year’s surprise package, who have had to cope with plenty of changes.

"Cas are going to get better as the league goes on. They have got a new half back pairing and a new nine and full back. They have a new backbone," Cunningham said.

"I spoke to Daryl (Powell) in pre-season and he is very hopeful things will work out pretty quickly.

"I watched the Wakefield game and they should have won it and Catalans was weird. To go to France and hang in there and get beat by a point is no mean feat – we have not done that for a few years so it is a tough one.

"It shows the spirit and confidence Daryl is bringing in, his half backs are good and Scott Moore is a good nine. Things are looking good there.

"There are no easy games – no gimmes any more.

"My players know the threat Castleford can pose and we have got to move on pretty quickly.

"The players are hurting from Sunday and want to move on and put this to bed. Everyone is fraught with gloom and doom because they feel like they have let the fans and themselves down.

"Once they see the positives, it will be onwards and upwards," he said.

Saints' 19 man squad is: Lomax, Makinson, Jones, Swift, Burns, Masoe, Roby, Amor, Vea, Wilkin, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Walmsley, Flanagan, Hohaia, Percival, Thompson, Richards, Greenwood, Dawson.

Daryl Powell will select his Castleford side from Michael Shenton, Justin Carney, Ben Roberts, Luke Gale, Andy Lynch, Adam Milner, Grant Millington, Oliver Holmes, Matt Cook, Nathan Massey, Ryan Boyle, Junior Moors, Scott Moore, Scott Wheeldon, Denny Solomona, Liam Finn, Jordan Tansey, Michael Channing, Mike McMeeken.
