A 52-YEAR-OLD man who was reported missing after failing to return to a residential home has been found safe and well, say police.

Concerns were raised after Michael Greaves did not go back to Avondale Nursing Home, Sandstone Drive, Whiston.

His family were especially worried about his welfare, particularly as he was not believed to have his prescription medication with him.

He was last seen on Sunday, April 13 at 10.45pm, when he was dropped off by a taxi driver on Church Lane, Eccleston, during a night out.

Police issued an appeal to trace him and he was found on Easter Sunday, a week after going missing.
