AN Easter farmers’ market is being held on Saturday and Sunday at Fir Tree Farm, King’s Moss.
Food buffs will have a field day on Saturday, from 9.30am to 1.30pm, while craft and gift stalls will take centre stage on Sunday, from 10am to 3pm.
Forsters’ spring lamb and Easter ham, Billinge’s Carefully Crafted egg crème cakes and bunny shaped scones and sponges, Shirleys’ rabbit and leek pies and seasonal blooms from the Garden Festivals Company will be on offer.
Visitors will be able to watch barn owl chicks in their nest in the barley grain tower, via CCTV.
On Sunday, gift options include candles, wood carvings, hand made cards, scented soap, pressed flowers and floral art and there will be a children’s workshop. More details from Alan or Edwina on 01744 894959
