ALAN Whalley, author of the Star’s ever-popular Whalley’s World page, is still recuperating following his recent accidental fall which has required stitches and plastic surgery.
In the meantime, until his return, we are striving to ‘keep the pot boiling’ for nostalgia fans by dipping into bygone columns or publishing readers’ old photos, head-scratters or pleas for information.
