RESIDENTS are being warned of flooding that has hit a road in St Helens.
St Helens Council has issued a statement explaining that Burtonhead Road, close to Ravenhead Retail Park, was closed on Friday "between McDonald's and the petrol station due to flooding".
All businesses remained open as usual, it added.
Motorists are advised to be aware of the situation when travelling in that direction.
