A MUM has shared how she is proud of her two young sons following their climb up Snowdon for charity.

Natalie Johnson from Garswood described her sons Dougie and Buddy, aged nine and seven, as “caring little boys” for their determination to raise funding for Teardrops charity.

Following several walking practices, the youngsters, alongside dad Ben, embarked on their hike up Snowdon yesterday, June 18.

41-year-old mum Natalie said: “I’m so proud of them; they’re so selfless.

“Every time I go shopping, they make me buy extra food and give money to people and ask what they can do.

“They are really caring little boys; I’m so proud of them.”

The brothers were said to be ‘beaming’ as they completed the climb, with the Garswood Primary School pupils ecstatic to see donations come through on their Just Giving page.

A total of £500 has already been raised.

Natalie added: “They’re very proud of themselves and their dad said they were beaming; think they really helped each other get up there.

“I’m thinking this is a bug they might want to do something again.”
