EMPLOYERS at the Amazon site in Haydock held a wellness event for their team to learn about wellbeing.

The event saw local charities and organisations such as Mind St Helens and Andy’s Man Club set up stalls to distribute information about the services they provide for the community.

Amazon employees were able to learn more about wellbeing and gain a better understanding of how physical health can impact mental wellbeing.

Instructors from PureGym also attended the wellbeing event, with Amazon staff members able to test out equipment.

"The event was really informative, and it was good fun having a go on the rowing machine."

Following the wellbeing event, the Haydock site donated £750 to Andy’s Man Club and £1,000 to Mind St Helens as part of the Amazon in the Community programme, a scheme aimed at supporting communities near Amazon sites across the UK.
