Today looking at some of the usual websites that I view on the internet, it is the first time that I have really noticed that some of the more professional websites have an icon at the side of their website / URL name in your browser. So this gave me an idea, I thought that it would be good for me to have an icon on my website too, the problem was that I had never done this before, so I had to do some research about this on the internet.

Eventually, I found a website that explained it all and you just have to select the image or logo that you want to use, save it as a .ico file, add a little html code to the head part of your webpage source code that points to this icon, update and save your webpage and icon and then upload them to your server. Then when you next browse your webpage click the refresh button on your browser and your new URL icon appears in the browser window, like mine does now! I learn something new everyday.

Cheers for now, Legless
