A SAINTS employee has had his long curly hair and beard chopped in aid of unwell children.
Twenty-year-old Adam Cotham, from Thatto Heath, lost his long locks as they were shaved off in the Red V cafe bar at Langtree Park to help raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
And his hair was donated to the Little Princess Trust to be made into wigs for children with cancer.
Members of Adam's family, friends and colleagues were there to see the Game Art student at the St Helens University Centre lose his long curly hair.
"One of my best mates has spina bifida and has been treated there, and it's also a huge thing to my family," said Adam, who works in the Saints shop and ticket office.
"There's a lot of children who have leukaemia so I'm also putting the in bags for wigs for them.
"It went really well and my hair was cut by Sam Lomax, who is Jonny's sister."
