AN entrepreneur who created one of the country's largest anti-bullying organisations is to be the lead speaker at one of St Helens Chamber's biggest networking events.

‘Connect @ the Chamber’ takes place on Tuesday, September 13 with founder of Ditch the Lablel, Liam Hackett to be the keynote speaker.

Liam, from Clock Face, founded Ditch the Label in 2008 with support from the Chamber’s start up team and the charity is now one of the biggest anti-bullying organisations in the UK and is currently expanding services into the US and Mexico.

Liam, 25, is also managing director of the youth and digital marketing agency, Hackett and Tiger and is a visiting lecturer at University of Sussex where he has been made a notable alumni after he studied for his degree in Business and Management with Marketing.

He has been ranked above executives from Netflix, T-Mobile and General Motors in Richtopia’s Most Influential CEOs list and was invited to become a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

The event will start with a Business Breakfast event, sponsored by Yorkshire Bank, and an exclusive members’ business exhibition at 7.45am, which will provide excellent opportunities to network over an informal breakfast, build new contacts and ultimately win new business.

Following the breakfast session, main event sponsors Aviva will deliver an informative presentation on pension auto-enrolment.

Anyone who brings a non-member company along with them on the day who then joins will get £50 off their next membership renewal.
