FASHION designer Amy Lynch from West Park says her online bespoke clothing company is attracting a lot of attention.

Amy, 31, who has one daughter, has been working in the fashion business since graduating and started her online Gallery Clothing Boutique two years ago.

The former De La Salle pupil said she is going for a '60s style with her latest designs, which are inspired by British designer and punk icon Vivienne Westwood.

She said: "I've done circle skirts using wide tartan printed fabrics to help revisit the era."

After school, Amy studied fashion and textiles at John Moores University in Liverpool. After that she worked for freelance designers in London before going into retail.

She said: "I had a shop in Borough Road but once I put the business online, I got a lot more attention so I decided to focus on the internet and left the shop."

She said most of her designs are inspired by the fabric.

She added: "All the items are made-to-measure and bespoke. I make all the clothes from scratch using my own patterns and sourcing the fabrics.

"It's all handmade so can't be found elsewhere."

Amy also makes accessories and homeware and does clothing alterations.
