THE sun shone on a glorious day at Thatto Heath as hundreds turned out to support Tony Barrow's testimonial.
Sides including Tony's former team mates and ex professionals including Tommy Martyn and Shaun Briscoe lined up on Saturday.
It was a huge response from the people of St Helens and Thatto Heath keen to support the 43-year-old who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer after a tumour was found in his brain.
A number of other events are planned to raise money to fund extra treatment Tony will need.
