THE Rainford Heritage Society will be holding a fund raising evening in aid of the people of Nepal which has been struck by two recent massive earthquakes killing thousands.
Photographer and society member Bernard Bibby who has visited the region will be exhibiting his pictures in a 'Nepal Slideshow and Sausage Supper Evening'.
It will take place up stairs in the Junction Pub on News Lane in Rainford at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 30. Tickets cost £5 and are available from Ray Waring on 01744 885547.
All money raised will not only go to the people in the region who have been affected but to help restore their heritage buildings damaged in the earthquakes.
