PASSERS-BY this morning had their attention grabbed by a piece of artwork left outside the Hardshaw Centre entrance.
Signed by 'Drunk Wolf Artist' the work depicts Laurel and Hardy carrying a bench with people sat on it, with the message "Without the centre, it's just Hardshaw".
The work, done on cardboard, was left outside the shopping centre in light of the controversy following the decision to remove the seating area from the centre.
The artwork has since been removed but is still causing a storm on social media.

And local art group Yellow Door Artists got in on the act dropping off some miniature benches at the shopping centre.
