POLICE suspect they have found six stolen cars and parts as they continue an investigation into alleged vehicle 'chop shops'.
Officers from Merseyside Police are continuing to search Crash Convertors in connection with their crackdown on people believed to be involved in selling stolen cars and car parts.
They have now located what they believe to be six stolen cars at the location which are in various stages of being broken up.
A further quantity of suspected stolen car parts has also been recovered.
The man arrested yesterday on suspicion of theft has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information about stolen cars in St Helens can call officers via the 101 number or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
