A WOMAN has appeared in court this morning charged with attempted murder and child cruelty.
Nicola Glover, 29, from Hughes Avenue in Prescot was arrested after a new born baby was discovered in a disabled toilet in a Southport amusement arcade.
Following an appearance before magistrates in South Sefton she was remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, May 6.
The baby, who was named April by staff at Ormskirk Hospital is now in the care of Knowsley Local Authority.
A 29-YEAR-old woman from Prescot will appear in court in South Sefton this morning after a newborn baby was found in Southport last Thursday (April 16).
She has been charged with attempted murder and child cruelty.
