Well then, well then, what a weekend that was, and im lucky to be alive, but more later.

I set off as usual about 1ish, and decided to stay in the Village hotel, as we were having a night out in Warrington for a change. So I get there bout 4. Straight to the gym, and also a Jacuzzi and sauna and swim. Back upstairs for a quick drink, and lo and behold, sitting in the Bar were the whole Hull KR squad, and here is me sitting with my Saints shirt on.

A quick bit of banter between me and Ben Cockayne, and Justin Morgan, was followed my me swiftly driving over to a proper Town, to see the game..

Met up with the lads and lasses in the pub, and I had to get to the ground early to meet Bernard Platt, who is Saints photographer for a photo to compliment the interview I gave to Alex Turner the day before.

As expected, an easy win without hitting the heights of champagne rugby. I was out of the ground at the end of the game, quicker than you could say " St Helens are going to smash Wigan Worriers on Good Friday", and back to Warrington for a quick change. Now this is when the problems started It started off with a crunching noise when I was driving at about 40 mph, and when I braked it got worse, a really loud scraping noise. I crawled back at snails pace to the hotel, knowing there was no way I could get home the next day until I had been to a garage.had a great night out, completely smashed. Found a garage the next morning who looked at my car, and in true garage style.

Let out a big sigh, and asked me to look. The sound I had heard was my break shoes snapping in half, and my other wheel hanging off balance, and if I had been on that motorway doing 70 I would have been killed as my brakes were jamming I see this as double good luck, as firstly, if I had went straight home the night before this would have happened at speed on the m62, and even if I had stayed in St Helens as usual, it would have happened the next day on the motorway. £300 plus made it an expensive weekend to say the least but at least Saints won I suppose .
