Well, what a night that was.
Set off from "the toon" with my 2 mates chris and Stu, who were going to their first Saints games.
Easy journey down for a change.Booked into my digs at the Park View hotel on Prescot Road, really nice place by the way.
Went to Birdinthand pub and a swift couple waiting for Wirral Saint as he was taking us to Bolton.
Anyway he picked us up, and top man by the way. But it was a nightmare 2 hours journey from St Helens to Bolton. Just got there in time though.
Cracking game to say the least, and the last 10 minutes were watched through my fingers!
After the game the amount of people coming up to me asking if I was Geordie saint from the paper was unreal, and thanks to you all for appreciating my support.
I would love anyone who sees this to come up to me anytime for a quick chat and I can teach you the lingo !!!
Same waiting to get out as well, so we nipped off to find some food and beer whilst Wirral Saint waited to get out the car park.
In St Helens again by midnight and a quick wash. Then Straight out into town. Getting back home to the B&B by 4 in the morning.
It was great to see a few of the players out and about in the pubs, and we had a good bit of Banter with them about the game as well.
I arrived home at 3 this afternoon, very tired, and settled down to watch it all again. Awesome and im still ecstatic to say the least. Now for next Friday to do it all again!!! Bring it on......................
