CREATIVE kids can take advantage of a free craft workshop at Church Square Shopping Centre this month.

The ever popular Shopper Whopper Children's Club will be holding painting sessions on Wednesday, April 8 from 11am to 3pm.

Children aged three to eight can decorate their own ceramic plant pot which they will then be able to take home.

Church Square Shopping Centre manager Steve Brogan said: "Our Shopper Whopper Children's Activity Clubs are very popular with youngsters both at weekends and during the school holidays.

"We understand that it's not easy to find things for children to do that are free, fun and close to hand which is why we have arranged this event for the school Easter holidays.

"It's part of a host of garden themed events in the square itself organised by St Helens Council which runs from Thursday, April 2 to Saturday, April 18. This includes a garden workshop and visits by CBeebies Mr Bloom and Reefs Reptiles.

"I am sure there will be plenty of youngsters coming to Church Square Shopping Centre to take part."
