WITH the GPW Recruitment 10k to take centre stage this Sunday, youngsters will take the spotlight in tomorrow's 2k.
One-hundred-and-sixty people will take part at the restored Victoria Park for the staging of the 2k event.
"We've got 160 people which was the capacity, and like the 10k we could have had a lot more," said organiser and Steve Prescott Foundation general manager Martin Blondel.
"It's mostly children but there are a few adults as well and it's going to be a fun run.
"It starts and finishes at the bandstand and it's fantastic with the facilities.
"Next year we hope to put on some entertainment and build it up!"
The run starts at 11am with a medal and chocolate bar for all finishers.
