AS STUDENTS sat patiently though a lecture about their behaviour little did they know what was going to happen next.

Haydock High's deputy Dee Griffiths' assembly was cut short when music started blasting out and teachers from all sides of the hall broke into a flash mob dance routine to Pharrell Williams hit song 'Happy'.

Stunned students broke into fits of laughter but soon got into the swing of things clapping along with the music as twinkle toed staff performed their well rehearsed choreography routine. They were even joined by a Minion from the film Despicable Me.

Within hours of the film being posted online it had been viewed more than 15,500 times.

After getting them in the mood students can now play their part for Comic Relief and 'Make Their Face Funny For Money' for a donation towards the charity. Red noses will be available to buy for £1 during the week and a number of events are due to take place.
