THE World Club Challenge may not have gone Saints' way but comedian Johnny Vegas has his own memento to remember the occasion.
Film superstar Russell Crowe's decision to snub the Oscars in favour of watching his beloved South Sydney at Langtree Park added a touch of glamour to the event.
And a headline which appeared in the Daily Mirror, which read 'The Oscars? Nah, I'd rather be in St Helens!', went down a storm in the town in the build-up to the game.
Possibly my favourite newspaper headline of all feckin' time. Kudos Mr @russellcrowe kudos pic.twitter.com/us0WicEYtp

Now funnyman Vegas, who joined stars of The Last leg Souths fan Adam Hills and Alex Brooker for the World Club Challenge, has been there and got the t-shirt.
He posted on his Twitter page on Monday a photograph of himself wearing the top which features the headline.
