POLICE raided three homes, seized amphetamine and arrested nine people in connection with drug crime.
Officers from Merseyside Police executed three warrants at addresses in town on Tuesday as part of an ongoing crackdown.
Eight men and a woman, all from St Helens, were arrested.
Two men, aged 58 and 44, were arrested at a property in Birchley Street, town centre, on suspicion of the possession of illegal drugs with intent to supply.
At a house in Windle Street, town centre, three men, aged 50, 52 and 40, and a 43-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of drugs.
A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and the possession of illegal amphetamine drugs with intent to supply.
This warrant was executed in Mardale Avenue, Clinkham Wood.
