BUSINESSES have been busy brewing up cash for cancer charities.
QualitySolicitors Keith Park in St Helens town centre were one of the firms to join in the Worlds Biggest Coffee by raising money for Macmillan.
Jo Ballard, the law firm's marketing manager, said: "Statistics show that one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer and Macmillan work tirelessly to support sufferers and their families through this difficult time.
"We thought this was a great campaign and a fun way to show our support for such a worthy cause. We had a fantastic morning and it was great to see so many staff supporting the event.
"Thanks to the tasty selection of cakes brought in and made by staff we have exceeded our target of last year."
It was a similar theme down at JB&B Leach estate agents where the team turned their passion for cakes and sweet treats into a MacMillan coffee morning.
Generosity from their friends at Solicitors Tickle Hall Cross and Frodshams helped with the fundraising push.
