A NEW St Helens-based theatre company established by a professional actor who overcome a debilitating stammer is staging a play titled The Caretaker at Chester Lane Library.

Costal Productions has been established by Rob Boyle.

The Caretaker is a psychological drama looks at power, allegiance, innocence, and corruption among two brothers and a tramp.

Councillor Andy Bowden, St Helens Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Health and Wellbeing, said: "It's always great to hear stories about people with conditions who have managed to overcome them and turn their lives around.

"The cast members appearing in the show are all part of the successful 'Mum Can You Lend Me Twenty Quid?' production - which The Citadel have been touring, so the audience should expect some really great performances from the cast."

The Caretaker is part of St Helens Council’s Cultural Hubs programme, which is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

The show, which takes place on October 30 at 7pm, is suitable for adults and teenagers.
