A DINOSAUR and a gang of trolls will be brought to life by award winning poet Dominic Berry when he brings his new show to St Helens.

‘When Trolls try to eat your Goldfish’ will be performed in three libraries as part of the council’s Cultural Hubs programme.

This high energy comedy follows his sell out tour in spring of ‘Spark The Goblin Wizard’ and 2013’s ‘The Dragon Who Hates Poetry’, both which enjoyed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.

He has also performed his poetry on Channel 4 and BBC’s Rhyme Rocket.

Councillor Richard McCauley aid: “Cultural Hubs is an absolutely wonderful project which is seeing us animate our libraries with great arts activity and performances.

“This family friendly show will work brilliantly in the three libraries and will be a fantastic opportunity to see award winning storytelling up close from one of England’s best poets and storytellers.”

The three shows will be held on Saturday, October 18 at Rainhill Library, 10.15am, Chester Lane Library, 12.30pm and St Helens central Library at 3pm.

The show is suitable for children aged five and over. Tickets cost £5 with concessions £2 to anyone under 21, over 65, a student, disabled our out of work.
