A NURSING home held a special ceremony in their memorial garden for the family and friends of former residents.
The deputy Mayor and Mayoress of St Helens Stephen and Linda Glover gave an introductory speech at Stocks Hall in Dentons Green and families lit candles in memory of their relatives.
Julie Gaskell manager of the home said: “This is a very special annual event. Stocks Hall is delighted to give family and friends the opportunity to come together and remember loved ones in this way.
“Our memorial garden, in a very small way, lovingly honours the memory of the wonderful people who have previously lived in the nursing home.
“The motto of our garden is one through the whole of the Stocks Hall Group ‘Every Person is valued’.”
