AN alleged ‘crack den’ has been boarded up for three months following a hearing at St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
Police raided the flat at 7 Glover Street, Greenbank last month and issued a closure notice restricting access to the property to the registered occupants.
The operation followed complaints from residents and allegations Class A drugs were being used there.
The matter went before court as police applied for the full closure order under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003. The order was granted by the court, meaning the property will be shut until December 3.
