A FAMILY-RUN business which specialises in ethical clothing is ready to go onwards and upwards as it moves into new premises one year after its creation.
Former St Helens College student Amy-Le Owens, 20, set up Phoenix Apparel with her mum Ann-Marie in September 2013.
The business focuses on designing ethical clothing by creating one-off pieces from recycled materials.
The mother and daughter team had been running the business from their Sutton home and some of their products were showcased at an exhibition at the World of Glass.
The business will re-locate to room 12 of Wolverhampton House, beside the Rendezvous Bar, Church Street.
Amy-Le said: "We sell vintage, upcycled and handmade clothing. There will be art for sale and a sitting area where customers can enjoy vegan cake and coffee whilst they try on our one-off designs."
The shop will have a quirky boutique style with furniture bought fro charity shops.
Amy-Le added: "The business has so far been a success and we hope that things are only going to get better when our shop comes to town.
"We would like to thank St Helens college, Sue Ryder, Salvation Army and the Honey Rose charity shops, and also the quakers for all their support."
Amy-Le and Ann-Marie will be holding an opening evening to mark the new era on Friday, September 26
