THE town's brightest young musicians are being invited to audition to win a coveted slot to perform at this year’s Solarking Pride of St Helens Awards.

Once again Jamm Studios is organising the competition for talented youngsters that will see the winner also crowned as Young Musician of the Year.

Dominic Randolfi, from Jamm, said: “This is our second year involved with the Pride of St Helens Awards and we are extremely proud to strengthen our links with the Steve Prescott Foundation.

“We like to help when we can with the foundation and were more than happy to get involved again this time.

“Last year’s winner Emma Nicholson was fantastic and gave an amazing performance on the night. I am sure we can unearth some more gems this time around.”
