FOUR members of the St Helens branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) have been recognised for their dedication and commitment to the service.
Mary Parry, Patrick Boyle and Barbara Lyons each received the ‘Silver Badge’ after 15 years service and Di Collins who took over as branch secretary two years ago was given a Certificate of Thanks for her work.
Branch chairman Tony Sayer said he was over the moon with the awards.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted that the dedication of members of the branch has been recognised by the RNLI.
“These awards are very well deserved.”
