The YMCA
IT is a building that has stood the test of time and remains there to this day while many others have bitten the dust.
It is of course the YMCA on the bottom of North Road. The building has even retained much of its features including the large ornate glass window and the curled iron railing.T
The photo is yet another fascinating snapshot of life in old St Helens, notice the timber yard further up the road, but can anyone put a date to the picture?
